Nikon 1 J2

Today's post is going to be special. As you all might want to know, I'm crazy about the different types of camera brands, the features it provides anddd .... Most importantly, I'm insane with the various types of camera designs/looks. Vintage cameras are one of my favourites!

However, it does have a complicated side in handling such cameras. Let's say you have to know how each of the buttons on the camera works. Honestly, I do not fancy my camera too have too much buttons. Do you? Well, tell me truthfully, how many function buttons would you be using if you are a beginner (like me) ? I probably would be using at least 4 - macro, landscape, shutter and auto... Hahahah! Very typical beginner ~~ 

Apart from vintage-looking cameras, the very common and currently in-thing camera I'd say is... the DSLR. I do love DSLR as it gives off a great, clear and vibrant image. You can snap pictures anytime, anyday and anywhere. You'd be feeling like a tourist anytime, anyday and anywhere too ! hahaha!! 

Not only that, it has manual and auto functions. Again, honestly, I do not have expertise in handling manual mode.. I'd always stick to auto for every single shot. No slight disappointments there! *winks*  In addition, DSLR are super bulky and heavy, right?? Again, truthfully, how many DSLR-users would end up passing their cameras to their friends/family members to carry it ? Hmmmm.. hmmmm??!!

Well,  Nikon 1 J2 is the perfect digital camera for you ! Yes, it is a digital camera and not some fancy DSLR. Let me tell you the most outstanding and useful features of this camera. 

Nikon 1 J2 has: 

1. Lightweight: You don't have to pass it to your friends/ family members to help you carry it anymore!
   
2. Hybrid auto-focus system : combines contrast- and phase-difference detection. This simply means J2 will usually only resort to contrast detection when light levels are low. In good light, it is able to take sharp photos of fast-moving subjects!
3. Electronic shutter: in which the speed is as fast as 1/16,000th of a second ! Moreover, the shutter is completely silent ! ( Say YAY! to successful jump shots~) 
4. Video mode:  J2 can  be set to shoot Full HD footage, and you even get to choose 720p @ 60fps, which is really smooth and still counts as high definition if you do not want to use Full HD.
5. Motion Snapshot Mode: In which J2 records a brief high-definition movie - whose buffering starts at a half-press of the shutter release and also takes a still photograph! The movie and the still image are saved in separate files too!
   (It's absolutely perfect and useful especially during a concert! You dont't even need any help from friends to take pictures while you video). Hehehe.

I would love a Nikon 1 J2. Addtionally,  it comes with 6 different colours (shown above) and you definitely can look good in any of the colours. For me, I love the colour red and I would want my J2 to be in red as well. 

There isn't any problem matching your outfit with your RED camera of course! Take a look at me~ 

Anyone can look good and fashionable with any colour Nikon J2 Camera! Just put on a hat and out you go looking like a tourist, I'm sure :) You don't have to be too fancy. Just be yourself and your camera will blend in with how you look instantly! :O Importantly, just have confidence in what you are wearing ! Tally ho~
