Tulipmania

Spring has sprung for some countries! Here in SG, we celebrate arrival of tulips in Gardens By The Bay, Tulipmania exhibition. I love all kinds of flowers. Tulips is one of flowers that I would love to see real life and not only on tissue boxes (for example, Beautex)... You get my joke? Since my trip to Turkey was during winter, I was not able to see tulips! Right now, tulips are seen everywhere over there!!!! *cries* At least GBTB has given me the chance to see tulips, #goodenough.

This year's Tulipmania was fairytale themed. Among all the fairy tales they featured, I absolutely love what they had done for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. They sure made the tiny cottage sweet looking and surrounded with lovely tulips. In Snow White, you must not forget the magical mirror! Eunice and I took a long time trying to capture ourselves in the mirror + cottage. So, a lovely passer-by (which I assume is good at photography) helped us took a decent shot. We had cramped faces coz we were not sure when he is gonna take the shot. That is why I said DECENT.

Trampoline Park

Trampoline Park was absolutely a great place to burn loads of fats/calories. They say if you jump for 10 mins it is equivalent to 30 mins of running. How easy is that! I definitely would prefer doing skipping/jumping as my daily exercise rather than running. I really hate running, I rather jog. The trampoline park I went to was around Tanjong Katong area and it is the only trampoline park that is non airconditioned. Think about it it's quite good that it is non air conditioned which means you can sweat a hell lot more. Get em toxic of your body, guys! I sure did sweat a freaking lot. My dry fit shirt can't keep up.

It was a suepr fun experience and of course, I'd love to come back! $12/hr, it's better to jump as much as possible. Worth the money aites.

After the workout, you definitely need to fuel yourself and in need of sugar. If you're a fan of churros like I am, go to I12 Katong just two busstops away from Trampoline Park, and get your churros craving fixed! It's from Churros Factory. It's super yummy when it is served hot/warm! They do delivery too, check them out!

Di-no-sores

It's my birthday month and I was shocked to meet her with a dinosaur in her paper bag! How could someone let her into the M.R.T???!??! Dangerous item!!! I was soooo elated with the balloon! I always wished to receive balloons on my birthday. And this dinosaur balloon ain't nothing plural but it was extremely cute to walk around with. Everyone kept saying "DINOSAUR!" when I walked through the M.R.T station and bus interchange despite it trying to hide in the paper bag.

We, to, caught The Best OF Me. Book written by my all -time favourite author, Nicholas Sparks. Of course and as expected the book is waaay wayyy better than the movie. I was so upset they cut some important (gory) stuffs! Yes, they couldn't fit the whole book into a movie. The book is way more detailed and contained more characters. The movie, too, did change a few characters. But whatevss. Also, no wonder it's NC16!!! And they ticket personnel HADDD to check my IC! LOLLL! I'm not like my age, I know.

Gardens by The Bay

Visited Gardens by the Bay today. My very first time visiting. I have always wanted to go however, Singapore's weather prevented me from going. Despite the sunny sunny sunny sunny day today, we spent about 6 hour  there. My Facebook page has more flora and fauna images. For our shoot (lol, shoot), I decided to just keep a low profile and just post the pictures here! Enjoy, you lucky readers. haha.

I do pity Eunice as she has to stand posing and maybe...maybe... there were times crowd came from my back. Of course, she felt embarrass standing, smiling for a photo. WE NOT MODELS. I'm not a quick photographer :'( oh welllzzz. Among all the hundredths shots I took, here are A FEW of my favourites I took of Eunice.

Next are shots of flowers! Flowers are truly flawless and I love taking any type of flowers. I got exciting seeing and taking shots of flowers. I love flowers, I do. However, I had no clue on how to adjust the light exposure settings of my camera (well, my brother's). Hence, mostly the images are bright and more on the whiter tone. To all flower lovers, enjoy!

I was most excited for the daisiessss!!! So, I had a lot of shots of this. Also, our selfies, wefies too!

Almost as huge as Eunice's hands.

Here's me shot by Eunice. Better than me, right?

ALIVE MUSEUM SINGAPORE

Finally, we both are having our school holiday! By hook or by crook, we gotta spend this time wisely and visit places/ do things that we wanna do before she/me starts school. Sadly, she's starting soon... And I... still having my holidays! Wooohoo! It's good to be in a local uni!

By now you might have heard of Trick Eye Museum at RWS. The ever so popular Korean illusion museum is here to stay in Singapore! Due to Trick Eye Museum's high publicity and popularity, we decided to not visit that museum. Listening to negative feedbacks from a few of my friends, TEM made them came early to buy the tickets and... they had to wait like freaking 3-4 hours to enter the museum. Moreover, it was darn crowded. Plus, you have to pay $1-3 to enter Sentosa. Sheesh, I sworn to myself not to enter Sentosa this year.

Lucky for us, there was an identical museum around Suntec area - Alive Museum Singapore. It was less crowded of course. We bought our tickets from Groupon - cheap, affordable, worth it deals. Our package came with Alive museum + Garden's By The Bay + Popeyes $10 meal. We had to pay only $36 for it! I'm not sure of the usual price... but it was more than $50 (which I will never fork out that amt for these attractions).

Well, let me begin with Alive Museum Singapore. Welcome, my fellow readers!
But, it'll be more of pictures than words. I only posted my favourites/cool ones. Others are on Facebook (not for public to see). Too bad....

They say you can spend only an hour in the museum. But, no one gave a f*ck about it I supposed. Eunice and I spent almost 2hr and 30mins there. Most probably we had to patiently deal with annoying museum-goers too. When I say they're annoying, I really mean it. Tapi... Bulan Ramadhan haruuuus bersabar! Phhheww~

Camera wasn't on the correct settings. We look like we're in a clluuuubbb~ Wooot wooot~
21 and legal.

I swear this wasn't an easy dance move. Salute you, Michael Jackson!

I'd love to one day go canoeing too. For the time being, this will do.

No one at the other end of the paper boat thoo.....

Honestly, it was quite tiring. All the posing, lying down on the ground, rushing to snap a pic before anyone could, waitingggg for people~~ Once is enough. No need to go Korea for this liaoooo!

PCN

Went cycling this morning from Tampines to Pasir Ris for two hours. It has been a loooong time since I last cycled. Took me a few seconds to warm up riding a bike. But it was all gooood exercise. Luckily, we went in the morning. Right after I showered, I knocked out.

Of course, I didn't wear a skirt while cycling. That'll be ruining my skirt (I think). And it's not a comfortable outfit (duh!). I just had shorts on and slipped on my skirt for photoshoot at this old-school swing~ Surprisingly, awkward pose, crumpled hat and skirt, not matching shoes... turned the picture quite decent-looking. I think it's nice.

Flower Power

Planned to go Botanical Garden with Eunice since it's the blooming month/season in Singapore. Everywhere you go you'll see pink, white, yellow flowers... petals on the ground. It's a lovely sight. Don't have to go to Japan or anywhere else for their famous spring season. Singapore has it's own spring too after two moths of drought. Thirsty trees received their natural source of food and those lovely sight of autumn turns into beautiful spring~

Before that, we head out for waffles and icecream at Island Creamery! Long time nvr gooo thereeee~ Glad it still serve maple syrup! And they have Nutella Ice Creammmmmm~ It tasted great of course. Yeah, it does have the Nutella taste, mmm. Honestly, I felt I shot a lovely picture of my waffles. Hehehe, *self praise*. The lighting cooperated with me~~ I'm not quite sure what was Ziggy magazine was all about just wanted to make the picture more hipster. I can become a photographer already~
^ Waffles + Ice cream ($5.80)
To be honest, the cheapest I ever ate. Cheaper than Merely's! Well, okay, not as cheap as 18Chefs if you purchase it with Student Meal...

It was raining but I was glad it rained. The thought of walking the whole Botanical Garden on a sunny day........ Well, it'll melt me away~ We headed to Orchid Gardens! So touristtt feeeell~

TGIW

Still having he recess week mood hence, #TGIW : Thank God It's Waffles on a lovely Wednesday! Back to yummy, cripsy and cozy ambience Merely Ice Cream shop at Bencoolen.

^ Waffles + Ice Cream ($6.10)
Today, we picked the peanut butter ice cream! For the love of peanut butter, the ice cream really had the peanut butter-y taste! Which then left me... thirsty for water thereafter. I,too, really adore their freshly made and crispy waffles! Not too sure if it's the greatest waffles to date tho... But, I'm sure other places would have lovely waffles. Such as eighteenchefs, mmmm. I miss that place.
Thereafter, we went to see party shops selling all sorts of party items, gift doors what not. As usual, shopping with me makes me crazily restless.... We're having party in the store! YAY!
